The Burnett Riverside Motel has the location that really suits the travellers or business people that just want to relax and do a little bit of shopping and get to see a bit of the local spot within a few minutes walk or drive
The location is great, the staff and owners are wondeful!
I know I'm picky but I found the bed to be uncomfortable. It was soft and mushy on one side but had a very firm ridge down the middle.
The clerk on checking into the motel was most helpful in explaining the details and directions etc and had a pleasant manner.
When booking on line we picked the room with a jacuzzi and I even called the motel in the evening to enquire about the setup of the rooms and to confirm that there was in actual fact a jacuzzi. The staff member said that twin rooms at $225.00 per night did have a jacuzzi and there was a double bed and two single beds separate to the main area. As I assumed we received the correct information from the staff member at the hotel I booked on line. We were extremely dissapointed when we checked in to find two beds in the one room and no jacuzzi. When enquiring on check out the female clerk was quite rude and said the internet is quite deceiving in its advertising and we had in actual booked the wrong room. The shower recess was mouldy and there were stains on the duvet covers. Very disappointing!
Ideal for disabled. Family apartment ideal. Riverside location, one street back from main shopping strip. Handy to rum distillery & cooperage
Really nice Motel with a awesome view from the balcony over looking the water. Staff are really nice and very helpful. Great stay, highly recommended.
Rooms were very tidy and spacious, and great to get a bed that is very comfortable. The whole motel was well looked after, and the resturant and the service and the food were wonderful. I would certainly stay there again and tell my friends about it.
Thought the staff and hotel were really pretty good, was surprised at the nice clean up keep of hotel and thought for the price it was really pretty good however...
what we did not like at all were that on the saturday night they had a wedding downstairs in the restaurant and it was Noisy Noisy Noisy !!!! This is really just not acceptable, we had a group of friends staying and depending on where the rooms were as to how much they were affected, We had two small children and ended up leaving at 9.30pm and then cancelled our accomodation for the following night . would not stay there again over the weekend if there were weddings on.,
Lovely clean rooms. Nicest place to saty in Bundaberg
It was very close to the Spinnaker where we had a function on the Saturday night. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The parking was too pokey for our Prado car.
I was happy with the location and closeness to the City
I am dispapointed to have paid $570 for a room for one person during the week. I believe this to be over priced considering I have stayed all over Australia. This equates to $190 per night. For one person with a view of the road in a basic room is far too much. There were no facilities such as pool, even though the web site suggested there was one. Riverviews were few and far between. I am very disappointed in the hotel and the cost.
I have stayed there before while on a business trip and I have always enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and the meals are very nice.
good location and the staff were great
the bathroom was bit dirty, this is kinda a put of when u come to relax. clening of the spa propley would go along way.
Location ; cleanliness
Overpriced; bed was very uncomfortable ; very, very noisy from street and cleaners.
I had the worst meal at the H2O restaurant I think I have ever eaten and I do alot of traveling and stay in alot of motels. The convenience of billing back to my room was the only poitive about my dinning experience there. My meal with out dout was reheated in the micro wave and I will not be dinning there again.
Staff were friendly and the location was just great. We were away for a weekend to discover Bundaberg and that's exactly what we did.
Just 1 little thing - the light switch for out bathroom was on the outside of the room, hence, in the middle of the night, the light would be switched on before the door could be closed and would disturb those sleeping closest to the bathroom.
